The Story of Lolita
Lolita Gómez is an Andalusian makeup artist with a distinguished two-decade career in the audiovisual industry, based in Madrid. Her ability to merge creativity with technique has spanned a wide range of projects, including feature films, top-tier TV series, campaigns, photoshoots, and art projects.
His resume includes collaborations with directors of the caliber of Álex de la Iglesia, Julio Medem, Rodrigo Cortés , and Félix Sabroso , establishing his work at the highest production standards. He also collaborates on photo shoots with photographers such as Miguel Reveriego , Paco Peregrín , Alfonso Ohnur , and Astrid Jenner .
Lolita's mastery has been honored by the Spanish Film Academy. In 2014, she won the Goya Award for Best Makeup and Hairstyling for "Las Brujas de Zugarramurdi" (The Witches of Zugarramurdi) . She was also nominated in 2018 for her work on "Pieles" (Skins) . She has also received awards at the ASECAN and FUGAZ awards for Best Makeup.
Her experience in film is complemented by work as a designer and Head of Department on notable productions such as "The Snow Girl" , "Fury" and "The Holy Family" , ensuring that the knowledge poured into the creation of the Flat Moulds is tested and approved under the pressure of the set.
Lolita Make-up Shop arose from the artist's own professional needs. The molds are the answer to a market gap: the lack of prosthetics with the textured detail, silicone quality, and fine edges that allow for quick and seamless integration on camera without needing a special effects workshop.
